the choice of routes is yours

Easy Riders is fantastically located just minutes from the Tarka Trail, the longest traffic free cycle route in the UK.
The Tarka Trail features a 180 mile, figure-eight loop inspired by the route travelled by Tarka the Otter. Unspoiled countryside and dramatic sea cliffs make the trail one of the best ways to experience the beauty of North Devon.
Whilst the Tarka trail offers a route around North Devon there are so many different places to visit and things to do. We particularly like the country lane to Lee Bay which exits Ilfracombe through the picturesque hamlet of Slade and offers stunning countryside and coastal views. Having built up a thirst there is also the added bonus of The Grampus pub in Lee Bay. There is also a very quiet country road from Hele Bay to the pretty village of Berrynarbor where you can head to The Globe pub for refreshments.
A good start for planning your exploration of the area would be to have a look at some of the suggested routes that are available on websites such as Komoot, Bikemap and Plotaroute. These are tailored to sort the full range of riders from novice to expert and include distances, timings and that all important answer to the question – “Just how high is this hill?”. Don’t worry though with Easy Riders you can Embrace Electric Freedom and the hills will just disappear.
For places of interest in Ilfracombe and across North Devon check out the Tourist Information Centre website at Visit Ilfracombe. Here you will also be able to find a very handy “What’s On Guide”.
